Even at its old age, it looks better than ever. And now it’s a better deal than ever. New for 2016 is the value-laden model in the line-up, the 1.8T S. It has a rear spoiler; 16-inch Whirl aluminum-alloy wheels; automatic headlights and an auto-dimming mirror; front lumbar supports; leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake; 5-inch touchscreen radio; and a six-speed automatic transmission. All that for less than $20,000.
All 2016 Beetle trim levels come with the new MIB II infotainment system, which has a USB port and a big touchscreen. With its available VW Car-Net App-Connect features and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, you can integrate all of your favorite smartphone apps right into the dash.
